zBug is the premiere industrial jazz unit based in San Francisco, CA that presents structured improvisational compositional music sets, based on the performance venue architecture and music compositional themes, featuring select guest members on concert engagements worldwide.
Booker Long Duo & Mike Sopko is Oakland’s up and coming musicians Ryan Scott Long and Michael James Booker have been pursuing their dreams of music since birth. These two met in a bathroom at Chabot College (don’t get the wrong idea).
Studio Grand Oakland is a nonprofit multi-use storefront that supports local families, youth, emerging and established artists by hosting a mix of music, performance, educational, visual art classes and events. Studio Grand seeks to provide teaching artists and performers with an affordable and highly visible location, as well as the opportunity for them to be creative and free in their work. Programming will reflect and serve the diverse communities that surround Oakland’s Lake Merritt and maintain a space for intercultural and transdisciplinary engagement.
