zBug; an industrial jazz unit based in San Francisco, CA that presents structured improvisational music sets based on the performance venue and compositional themes along with featuring prominent video artists and musical guests on selected concert engagements. They have also been associated with Wadada Leo Smith, Kidd Jordan, Eddie Gale, and Lou Reed's Metal Machine Trio.

Bug (Moog) | EBE (DJ); an electronic Moog/DJ duet project featuring David Leikam aka Bug (Moog) and Lucas Rodenbush aka EBE (DJ) since January 2009. They have performed at the SouthBay Electronic Muzik Fest in San Jose, CA and reoccurring engagements performing world broadcasts on KZSU 90.1FM, Stanford University. Their last performance was a five hour live set on KZSU 90.1FM, Stanford University that was well received by their growing global audience including jazz trumpet legend Eddie Gale.

David Leikam and Joe Straub; A duo music project that explores the delicate fabric of structured improvisational landscapes and atmospheric composition. Meeting at the California Institute of the Arts in 2005 while both were studying music composition. In 2010, while Joe was in-residency at Maybeck Studios in Berkeley, CA, they decided to start a collaboration that continues to the present and produced a unique album consisting of structured improvisations in 2010 entitled Discovery of Systems that was realized during the afternoon sessions. They are recording a follow-up album in 2012 as Joe is currently residing back in San Francisco, California after a couple years in Berlin, Germany as well as performing concert engagements.
